Here you can download free Ancient Greek round pattern. This is a typical ancient Greek pattern that can serve you for various projects with the Antique World theme.

As you can see in the picture, this is a classic ancient Greek round pattern that consists of two commonly used ancient ornamental design elements, the anthemion (palmette, honeysuckle) and the lotus flower, arranged in a circle. These motifs originated in Ancient Egypt, gaining the greatest popularity among the ancient Greeks and Romans. Patterns like this exist in different variants and most commonly you can see them as frieze patterns.

It should be noted that the palmette on this ornament is something between the palmette and the flame palmette. The regular palmette has leaves curled on the outside, and the flame palmette has leaves curved inward. This particular variant here has most leaves turned to the outside, only the second-to-the-last are curved inward. There is a very nice circular fret border around the entire pattern. All the pattern elements have been drawn in high quality, so you can use them to draw different ancient Greek patterns, especially the fret border which is a little harder to draw than other design elements. The pattern is symmetrical, and it is enough to draw only a segment (1/16 circle) by which the entire pattern is formed.
