In the picture you can see a free floral pattern named the 'Brushwork natural form'.
This pattern originates from the old book “Decorative brush-work & elementary design, a manual for the use of teachers and students in elementary, secondary and technical schools” (Author: Cadness Henry; Published: 1902) and represents a very nice example of brushwork technique.

The design consists of nine closed curves and it can be easily converted into stencil or scroll saw design by using 2D CAD or vector editing software. Due to its simplicity and natural forms, this design is applicable to a variety of craft techniques.
