A collection of hands from long case clocks, an old proven design that will surely add to the beauty of handmade wood clocks.
All the clock-hand designs in this collection have been inspired by some pictures found in an old book, "Early English furniture & woodwork” (By Cescinsky Herber, Published 1922)". There are eight pairs of clock hands in the collection, each of them consisting of the short hour hand and the long minute hand. The hand designs are not drawn to be realistic in size and in order to make use of any of them, the chosen design must be scaled to the required size. In the book (below the pictures of the clock hands) it is stated that the hands match longcase clocks.
The collection can be downloaded in 2D CAD (dwg) or vector (eps and svg) file formats, and all the clock hands can be easily edited or modified using appropriate software.
Today there are many amateurs who make different types of clocks, but this collection is not meant for them only because of the very fact that the clock-hand designs can be used for various projects (3D, raster, vector) whose subject matter deals with old clocks.
