The art (or craft) of cutting various designs is very popular and we believe that you will find a nice application for this interesting silhouette. Due to its simplicity, it can be a good exercise for cutting from materials such as wood or paper.

This simple cut-out art silhouette, has been found in the book „Kunstgewerbe, ein Bericht über Entwicklung und Tätigkeit der Handwerker. Kunstgewerbeschulen in Preussen“ (Arts and crafts, a report on the development and activities of craftsmen. Arts and crafts schools in Prussia) published in 1922. It was designed by the authoress Irma Gisewski.
