Here you can download four Interlace geometric designs that were taken from the pages of an old book.

Three designs come from an old Italian book `Disegno geometrico` ((Geometrical drawing) – Author: Alessandro Antilli; Published: 1914) and the fourth design from the book The high school drawing course (Author: Arthur J.; published: 1888).

The first and fourth designs are very similar to Celtic knot designs, and there are many variations of such designs. They are still widely used today and, above all, easy to draw, both manually and using a computer.

These free geometric patterns are available as usually in Autodesk (dwg) format, Encapsulated PostScript (eps) format and Scalable Vector Graphics (svg) format.

The other two geometric designs were obtained by interweaving various shapes drawn using lines, squares and circles. Interlaced designs are modern today and their best feature is that they are very easy to draw, i.e., it all depends on your inspiration. You can literally draw several geometric elements one over the other, add lines or some other geometric elements, delete unnecessary segments, and the final stage is to carefully draw or delete the details where the elements overlap.
