This is an Italian Gothic fabric pattern (1200 A.D. - Saracenic influence), a fine example of medieval decorative art.

This repeating Gothic pattern is hand-traced in CAD software, and the motive is taken from an old book Period furnishings: an encyclopedia of historic furniture, decorations and furnishings (Author Clifford Chandler Robbins, Published 1915).The text in the book states that patterns from Gothic-style fabrics were heavily influenced by the Saracenic style, especially in Italy and Spain. No matter the style and the influence, this over 800-year-old fabric pattern is extremely beautiful and can still be used in many ways today.
