On this page we present and offer to download three mysterious frieze designs from outer space.
Leafing through old German periodicals (Die Kunst : Monatsheft für freie und angewandte Kunst, published 1899), we have come across the illustrations of these three mystical and somewhat creepy frieze patterns. After downloading the files, you will find segments to help you make a frieze design of any length. Provided you paint them nicely, the very segments can be used independently, as a mystical illustration background or the like.
In the picture you can see what the designs looks like, and if you can think of any good idea to use it, its 2D CAD (.dwg) and vector (svg and eps) file formats are at your disposal.
Due to a large number of elements that had to be drawn, it was rather tiring to manually trace these patterns, but we think it was worth the effort. These mysterious frieze designs can be used for various projects, especially those with themes of sci-fi, horror, etc.
