This collection of rectangular and round ornaments comes from old jewelry. The collection consists of two large ornaments and nine simple small ornaments.
All 11 ornaments in this collection were used on some old jewelry and found in an old book. As the pictures in the book were of good quality, we manually traced them in a 2D CAD software. Drawing the two ornaments in the middle was very tedious and time consuming, which is not surprising as far as such complex ornaments are concerned, but their quality and beauty are worth the effort. A particularly enjoyable part was the process of coloring, because when the ornament drawing (tracing) was completed, only a bunch of curves were obtained and the beauty of the ornament was difficult to see. Once we started the coloring, it was fascinating how its beauty slowly became more and more visible. Believe us, this is surely the most interesting part of the drawing process when it comes to ornaments like these! Of course, when you download the files you will find their non-colored versions so that you can enjoy this process without having to spend ten hours drawing the ornament. Another reason why you won’t find colored versions of the ornaments is that such files would be exceptionally large.
