Scroll saw 2-tier corner shelf bracket patterns

If you happen to be a lover of the scroll saw technique that wants to build a 2-tier corner shelf, here you can find 17 high quality shelf bracket patterns of extremely beautiful antique design.

The patterns are not too complicated, so you can cut them by hand if you do not have a laser cutter. Needless to say, this would be much faster and easier to do with the help of a laser cutter. All 17 brackets are intended for shelves with two tiers, and they can be used for making not only corner shelves but also classic wall shelves. As you can see in the picture, with two patterns you are offered a drawing of the horizontal shelf part; with other brackets you can design those parts yourself, which is not difficult since they should be as simple as possible (they have a bearing function and are not visible). There are usually no cut patterns on horizontal shelf parts.

 

 

Since we know neither the dimensions of the shelf that you will choose to build nor the thickness of the material you will use, the woodworking joints (e.g. tabs and slots) have not been drawn on the patterns. The brackets scroll saw patterns have been precisely drawn, and all you have to do is choose the one you like best, scale it to the desired dimensions, draw the tabs and slots and do the cutting. File formats are available with which you can print the scaled drawings, as well as file formats suitable for cutting brackets on a laser cutter.
