This is a set of five old Russian ornaments. All ornaments we found in an old book, and it's a shame to be forgotten on its pages.

These ornaments look very interesting and can be used to decorate triangle-shaped surfaces. You can also create circular ornaments if you rotate and copy them several times. We are sorry that we can't tell you what it looks like because we haven't tried to draw them in a circle ourselves; but one thing is for sure - with ornaments of this shape, it is absolutely feasible and very easy to draw in 2D CAD or vector software.

Like all ornaments on our website, these Russian ornaments can be downloaded in the 2D CAD (dwg) and vector (eps and svg) file formats.

The Russian School of Decorative Drawing is old but very interesting, and if you haven’t become familiar with Russian ornaments so far, please believe us, it really pays to look a little deeper into old Russian books that are full of various decorations. This way you may refresh your work with very beautiful Russian-style ornaments that are similar to a variety of others you often see around, but still standing out for this ‘something’ among all the rest. All 5 ornaments come from an old Russian book in which the pages were richly decorated. Ornaments are accurately drawn and we hope you will be able to use them as decorative elements.
