Here you are offered a plan according to which you can make one of the simplest possible flower pot racks.
If you are already balancing a heavy workload, and you are put under additional pressure because your wife needs you to urgently create a space-saving flower pot rack, this is the right project for you. Not only will you be able to please your darling wife, but also you will manage to get back to your original work in no time. As you can see in the picture, this flower pot rack consists of three tiers (the number may differ depending on your needs). Its structure is simple and its dimensions can be adapted to the space where you want to put it.
Dimensions of the completed flower pot rack according to our plan are as follows: Height 625mm (24 19/32''), Width 800mm (31 1/2'') and Length 601mm (23 21/32'')
The tiers are arranged in stair step formation, so it is possible to view all the flower pots at a glance. This is what you need to do: prepare the material first, then cut the boards to the required dimensions, drill the holes and put together your flower pot rack. It’s as simple as that! Most likely the construction will be hidden by the plants themselves. If it is meant to be used outdoors, however, it is best to apply a finish i.e. exterior paint to protect it against water damage.
The connections between the parts are achieved by using bolts, nuts and threaded inserts, which gives you the ability to disassemble the flower pot rack and put it aside when you plan not to use it for a while, as well as to re-assemble it when the weather is fine again.
3-Tier Flower Pot Rack plan includes: an assembly drawing, an exploded view and the drawings of all the parts with necessary dimensions.
A similar project, only a more complex one, was published a few years ago. It can be found at the following link: Flower pot stand plan
