This collection is called Infinite Twisted Tunnel Patterns, and this type of pattern can also be found under the name ‘tunnel optical illusion’ or ‘abstract tunnel’.

The pattern is very simple, reminiscent of a very long twisting tunnel, i.e., as if a tunnel in the distance vanishes into one point (one-point perspective effect). The initial shape of the tunnel can be a polygon (triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, or octagon) or a closed polyline (not too complex). The perspective effect is achieved by shrinking and rotating the shape. Everything will be clear to you when you import the patterns into some 2D CAD or vector software and look at them carefully.

We have also generated tunnel patterns for various initial shapes, so you have several  examples from which you can choose the one that suits you best. Of course, in the files there are only 2D wireframes that consist of lines, and the real effect is obtained when the tunnel patterns are colored. We hope that you feel satisfied with the drawing quality of the infinite twisted tunnel patterns and inspired to make something beautiful and use them in a good way. The patterns were not drawn by hand but generated in CAD software using an algorithm. The patterns obtained by reducing and rotating the initial shape can also be used to model interesting twisted 3D models; it is enough to arrange all shapes at a distance one after the other, form  a solid or surface from them using the Loft command, and the 3D model of the abstract tunnel is ready!
